ONE Store Beta Now Available

Following the global launch of the realme 12 Pro Series 5G in January, realme Philippines finally drops a few hints on the imminent arrival of the realme 12 Series 5G in the country via a cryptic post on its official Facebook page. After a teaser in CES 2024, the popular smartphone manufacturer fires up the hype train after successful back-to-back sold out performances of the realme Note 50 and successful launch of the realme C67.

Realme Philippines has yet to divulge which variant of the Pro Series it will be bringing to the Philippine market. It’s possible that we won’t be getting all iterations in the Philippines, or we simply have to wait a while each phone in the series to have their respective launches. That being said, they have confirmed a local launch of the new model realme 12+ 5G as part of the realme 12 Series 5G. This new model, with the addition of the “+” symbol, signifies realme’s commitment to providing ultimate value within the mid-range smartphone segment.

The realme 12+ 5G promises outstanding photography performance. To deliver elevated imaging, realme partnered with Oscar-winning cinematographer Claudio Miranda to develop three image enhancement filters inspired by his award-winning films. Miranda is well-known for his Academy Award in cinematography for 2o12’s Life of Pi, and a nomination in 2008’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

In line with the brand’s tradition of highlighting exceptional design in its smartphones, the realme 12+ 5G incorporates luxury watch design elements, redefining the smartphone design language. This has been a consistent theme with the brand, as their numbered series has always sprinkled in a bit of glamour–albeit cranking things up in their previous realme 11 series.
