Genshin Impact Version 4.6 will see the debut of Arlecchino

Following Version 4.5 last month, HoYoverse finally unveiled details of Genshin Impact Version 4.6 that’s titled “Two Worlds Aflame, the Crimson Night Fades.”

The highlight of this new version update is Arlecchino, the fourth Fatui Harbinger who will come as a recruitable team member and a Weekly Boss. On top of Arlecchino, the new version will also feature a new explorable area along with a special rhythm game event.

Arlecchino is a 5-star Pyro polearm whose skills are centered around the “Bond of Life” mechanic. This mechanic is supposed to prevent its victim from being healed, but Arlecchino can use this to enhance her attack power. Specifically, Arlecchino can gain a “Bond of Life” bar above her health bar, and when this bar becomes equal or greater to her health, she will enter an offensive state that adds extra damage along with Pyro damage when consuming the bar. Arlecchino can increase her “Bond of Life” bar through Blood-Debt Directives on her enemies. Plus, Arlecchino has the unique Elemental Burst Talent which she can use to receive healing effects.

Even those who don’t get her will encounter Arlecchino as she will be a new Weekly Boss. As for her story, more info about her and her past will be revealed in her Story Quest “Ignis Purgatorius.”

Aside from Arlecchino who will join the first half of the new version update’s Event Wishes, fans can also look forward to a rerun of Lyney, followed by Wanderer and Baizhu in the second half.

Meanwhile, the new area that will be introduced in Version 4.6 is the remains of Remuria, an empire whose heyday predates even that of the the birth of the Court of Fontaine. Players will not only be able to explore this, but they’ll also meet a special dragon and be able to fight a new boss.

Finally, there’s the Iridescent Arataki Rockin’ for Life Tour de Force of Awesomeness,” an upcoming rhythm game event where players will be able to edit their own rhythm games and challenge friends on them via sharing codes. Participating in this event will net players the brand-new instrument “Nightwind Horn.”

Genshin Impact Version 4.6 will release on April 24 on PS5, PS4, PC, Android, and iOS.
