After its initial reveal last week, HONOR Philippines finally launched its newest flagship smartphone – the HONOR Magic7 Pro.
The HONOR Magic7 Pro has flagship-level specs, including a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a large 5,850mAh battery with 100W fast charging, and an impressive triple rear camera setup.
To be exact, the Magic7 Pro is equipped with what HONOR calls its AI Falcon Camera System consisting of a 50MP Super Dynamic HONOR Falcon Main Camera, a 200MP Telephoto Camera, and a 50MP ultrawide. Along with these, the phone also integrates the AI HONOR IMAGE ENGINE – the industry’s first Mobile Imaging System with Hybrid (device-cloud) AI Large Models. Thanks to this AI integration, along with previous HONOR features like Harcourt Portrait Modes, the Magic7 Pro promises to deliver proper flagship-level photography capabilities, be it for landscape photos, night shots, and portraits.
If that’s not enough, the phone also packs AI Motion Sensing Capture that allows users to capture precise moments, along with HD Super Burst that allows users to freeze high-speed action sequences with precision at 10 frames per second. There’s also the AI Super Zoom feature which lets it capture excellent quality photos, even at 30x to 100x zoom.
Aside from great camera capabilities, the phone’s Snapdragon 8 elite mobile platform with the advanced Qualcomm Oryon CPU and Qualcomm Adreno GPU also promises to deliver excellent gaming and productivity performance. To further help with snappiness, the phone has an AI Predictive Scheduling Engine that uses AI scene prediction and precise frame rate recognition for optimal system management.
Even with the performance, battery life promises to be great as the phone’s battery uses silicon-based anode materials for enhanced performance. Plus, the 100W Wired HONOR SuperCharge allows the phone to reach full charge in just 33 minutes with a compatible wired charger.
AI isn’t just there to help with performance and photography though as the Magic7 Pro also has a wide array of AI features that are seamlessly integrated for use with everyday tasks. For instance, there’s the Magic Portal2 where users can circle desired objects within the screen and enable instant text and image comprehension and access wanted app services instantly.
There’s also the on-device AI Deepfake Detection technology, making the Magic7 pro the industry’s first commercial device that can protect users from deepfake scams during video calls.
On top of these, the phone has AI Translation, offering instant translation for up to 13 languages. There’s also AI summary via the HONOR Notes app that quickly and accurately summarizes notes, complete with a “minutes” function.
Finally, the new HONOR flagship comes with Google’s Gemini’s overlay, giving users quick access to Google’s AI assistant. This shoudl be helpful for navigation, planning trips, and various tasks.
In the Philippines, the HONOR Magic7 Pro is available for pre-order now until April 25 in the Lunar Shadow Grey and Black colorways. The phone is priced at PHP 59,999, with each purchase coming with free JBL Soundgear Frames (priced at PHP 9,499).
Pre-orders are available now via Lazada, Shopee, TikTok shop, and HONOR Experience and Partner Stores nationwide. The phone will also be available via Home Credit for as low as Php 2,484/month with 0% interest and payable up to 18 months.
