Samsung confirmed that it will start rolling out One UI 7 this month to previous generation flagships in the Philippines.
The latest version of One UI was initially only available on the Galaxy S25 series. Finally though, owners of other Samsung flagship devices will get the update this April.
As a major One UI update, this latest version promises to deliver an enhanced, AI-powered experience. Specifically, One UI 7 will feature AI Select which will recommend various commands depending on context. For instance, a user can swipe the Edge Panel and click ‘AI Select’ icon when watching a video to save it as a GIF file.
There’s also Writing Assist to easily format text, Drawing Assist that allows users to generate images via text or sketch prompts, and Audio Eraser which can remove unwanted noise in videos.
Aside from AI features, the latest One UI version will add the Now Bar which provides real-time updates that matter most right on the lock screen. The new UI will also have an updated and more streamlined look. To be exact, it will feature a simplified home screen along with redesigned One UI widgets.

Other additions include deeper Google Gemini integration which lets users get AI suggestions by simply long-pressing the side button. Plus, there’s Natural language search for settings, making it easier to look for settings without having to input the exact words. Essentially, by typing a phrase like “My eyes are feeling tired,” you’ll be shown options such as adjusting brightness or turning on Eye comfort shield.
One UI 7 will begin rolling out in the Philippines this month. It’s confirmed to be released soon on various smartphones and tablets, including the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 FE, the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5, the Galaxy Tab S10 series, and the Galaxy Tab S9 series.
