Samsung unveils Bespoke AI home appliance lineup in the Philippines

Samsung recently unveiled its new Bespoke AI lineup of home appliances in the Philippines, including various new refrigerators and washing machines.

While Samsung has unveiled a wide array of AI phones over the past year, the brand isn’t stopping there when it comes to AI. That’s because Samsung has also been working to integrate AI features into its latest top-of-the-line home appliances.

These new AI appliances were unveiled during the Bespoke AI launch in the Philippines that happened at Whitespace Manila earlier today. The event saw Samsung showcase an array of new refrigerators and washing machines with AI functionality along with SmartThings connectivity.

“At the heart of everything we do at Samsung is our goal to make the lives of our customers better and easier with our technology, including our home appliances,” said Ramon Medina, Head of Digital Appliances for Samsung Electronics Philippines. “We are proud that our newest Bespoke AI appliances are a testament to Samsung’s deeper commitment to integrating AI across the connected experience to cater to diverse lifestyles.”

First up are the Bespoke AI Side-by-Side Refrigerators which has various AI additions like the  9” AI Family Hub LCD screen that lets users control smart devices and get updates on the ref’s display. This smart hub can also be connected to Samsung’s SmartThings mobile app for control of the fridge via a smartphone. Plus, the Family Hub also lets users share photos, listen to music, and access information from the Daily Board.

Functionality-wise, these Samsung fridges also have useful design features such as the All-around Cooling feature which ensures every corner of the fridge is evenly chilled.

Then, there are the new Bespoke AI washing machines. These include the Bespoke AI Laundry All-in-One Combo which has a washer-dryer combo, along with more efficient washing/drying courtesy of AI (which detects the weight and fabric of laundry and adjusts its settings accordingly).

There’s also the AI Top-load Washer that promises a more gentle wash thanks to AI Wash that adjusts its cycle settings automatically. It also has a Super Speed feature that shortens the rinsing time by shooting powerful jets of water and accelerating the spin speed.
