EA recently announced Star Wars Zero Company, a new turn-based tactics game that’s coming to consoles and PC in 2026.
While we have gotten a number of high-profile Star Wars games over the years (such as Ubisoft’s Outlaws or EA’s own Jedi titles), most of them are action games with RPG elements. This upcoming Star Wars title is quite different as it will come with turn-based tactics gameplay, though its setting should be a familiar one to fans. After all, Zero Company is set in the closing stages of the Clone Wars.
The game was revealed with an official announce trailer that mostly shows cutscenes, though the end does feature some gameplay snippets that give us an idea of what to expect.

To give you a better idea of what to expect, at least when it comes to story, the game’s premise is described as:
Star Wars Zero Company features a gritty and authentic original story set during the twilight of the Clone Wars that puts players in control of Hawks, a former Republic officer who’s in charge of an elite squad of cunning operatives. As an unconventional outfit of professionals for hire hailing from across the galaxy, Zero Company must set aside their differences to take on an emerging threat that will consume the galaxy if left unchecked.
Given the gameplay, coupled with its Clone Wars setting, Zero Company is shaping up to be an intriguing new release for the franchise, especially considering that a turn-based combat system should be a great fit for a band of rag-tag operatives. Plus, it has been a while since we’ve seen a high-profile turn-based tactics game be released.
Star Wars Zero Company will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC sometime in 2026. As the game’s release is still a year away, there’s not a lot of info released about it yet, meaning the game’s system requirements are not yet known.
