Acer launches 2025 model Predator, Nitro, and ProCreator monitors

Computex 2025 is just a few days away, but before the event, Acer unveiled its 2025 lineup of Predator and Nitro gaming monitors, along with a range of ProCreator displays.

Much like its 2025 laptop lineup, Acer revealed a wide variety of new monitors, with some higher-end models featuring the latest display tech, making for promising upgrades for serious gamers and content creators.

Acer’s 2025 Gaming Monitors

For gamers, the new Acer Predator and Nitro displays are no doubt the highlights of the brand’s Computex lineup. To start, we have the Predator QD-OLED which include the Predator X27U F5 and the Predator X27 X. The X27u F5 is a 27-inch WQHD QD-OLED (2560×1440) screen with VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 certification, though its highlight feature is its whopping 500Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the Predator X27 X has a 4K resolution QD-OLED and a 240Hz refresh rate.

Then, there are the new Nitro displays which promise to be more affordable than the top-of-the-line Predator monitors. The Nitro GA431 is the first of the new Nitro screens, and it is a 31.5-inch 4K UHD display (3840×2160) with a 165 Hz refresh rate and up to a 0.05 ms (GTG) response time. Next is the Nitro GA341CUR W0 which has a 34-inch ultra-wide QHD display (3440×1440) with a 240 Hz refresh rate.

Finally, there’s the Acer Nitro PG271K, a portable gaming monitor with a 27-inch 4K display (3840×2160) with a 72 Hz refresh rate. It also has a Full HD (1920×1080) at 144 Hz mode for users who want a higher framerate.

Acer ProCreator Displays

Moving on to the content creation screens, we have the range of new ProCreator Series monitors, all of which are Calman-verified, meaning they meet rigorous standards for reliable color performance.

Of the lineup, the ProCreator PE320QXT is the most eye-catching as it has a 6K (6016×3384) resolution, though there’s also the the ProCreator PE270XT with a 5K (5120×2880) resolution. Both monitors are VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified and support 99% of the AdobeRGB and DCI-P3 color gamuts.

Next up is the ProCreator PE320QK X monitor which has a 4K UHD (3840×2160) QD-OLED panel, along with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible technology.

There’s also the compact and portable ProCreator PE160WU display with its 6-inch OLED display with WQXGA+ (2880×1800) resolution screen. Even though it’s a small portable display, it supports 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and has a Delta E<2 color accuracy, making it a great content creation partner when on the go.

Acer also unveiled other portable display options, including the PD163QT, PD243Y E, and PM191Q E.

The first two monitors are dual-screen models, and they have Full HD (1920×1080) resolution and can be folded up to 315°. Meanwhile, the single-screen Acer PM191Q E features a Full HD (1920×1080) resolution and can be overclocked to a 100 Hz refresh rate.

While not exactly monitors, Acer also revealed three portable projectors. First is the PD1810 which delivers 4K UHD (3840×2160) resolution and 1,000 ANSI lumens brightness, all while having a small and light chassis. This projector also which promises cinema-like, big-screen projection thanks to a football mode function.

Then, there’s the PD1520s, a smart projector that’s even smaller as it weighs just 1.3 kg and measures just 53 mm thin. Despite its size, it has 1,200 ANSI lumens of brightness with Full HD (1920×1080) resolution.

These new Acer monitors will be highlighted at Computex 2025, happening from May 20 to 23 in Taipei, though pricing and availability details of these displays have yet to be announced.
