Wrestling fans are all hyped as Dexcon prepares to host what’s being billed as the Philippines’ biggest pro wrestling event of 2025. Coming off the heels of their previous international spectacle, Dexcon Dakila will unfold over two days on May 17-18, featuring top talent from the Philippines, UK, Canada, Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia.
The sold-out event kicks off with a fan-friendly Wrestlebazaar and meet-and-greet sessions at Hobby Stadium on Saturday, followed by the main show at Brawlpit Bulusan on Sunday.
Headlining the card is an international dream tag team match with no time limit, pitting Zack Sabre Jr. and Jake De Leon against El Phantasmo and Fabio Makisig. This follows last year’s critically acclaimed singles match between Sabre and De Leon at Dexcon: Dekada, which many consider the best wrestling match in Philippine history.
Another featured bout sees Filipino star Nigel San Jose taking on Malaysia’s Emman Azman in what promises to be a high-caliber international dream match.
Championship gold will be on the line as Main Maxx defends the Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Championship in a triple threat against Southeast Asian champions Miles Karu of Malaysia and Thailand’s Shivam.
Singapore Pro Wrestling’s Da Butcherman returns to Manila to defend the SPW Southeast Asian Championship against a formidable field including Jomar, Ken Cifer, and Isaiah Valencia.
In a much-anticipated singles match, “Patron Saint of Shoot Style” Saint John Martin battles “Serial Thriller” Robin Sane in what’s being called “The Fight for the Underground,” pitting shoot style against speed.
Singapore tag team Jack and Cheese will make their Philippine debut against the local duo Bahay ng Liwanag (Aaron and Serafin Liwanag). Additional Filipino talents scheduled to appear include Crystal, Chelsea Marie, Ravena, El Katipunero, Patricia Ligaia, and Joya.
