Fishing. Fishing never changes. This is what players of Fallout 76 can treat themselves to as the update – Gone Fission – had its launch trailer premiered in the recently concluded Xbox Games Showcase.
The update features a relaxing way to enjoy the summer in Appalachia — through Fishing, of course! This cozy patch lets you go fishing and experiment with various bait, rods, locations, weather conditions, and more! You can try various combinations to get some amazing fish, including one of the 12 prized Axolotls that rotate every month and even some Local Legends. Be sure to check out the Fisherman’s Rest, a new location in the Mire where you can trade your Fish Bits for a legendary item.
Fallout 76 has actually enjoyed many updates and adjustments since its initial release back in 2018. So much so that it has build quite a consistent fan base now of Fallout fans that continually supports Fallout 76. Gone Fission is a nice little touch for the game’s player base to enjoy this nice relaxing summer activity with the rest of the community. All the while still hunting for good loot for their characters.
