Moviegoers in Quezon City are in for a treat as TriNoma recently opened its new A-Giant Cinema, the mall’s new flagship theater.
For those who frequent Ayala Malls Vertis North and Manila Bay, the A-Giant cinema should be a familiar sight. If you aren’t, these are Ayala Malls’ biggest theaters, featuring massive screens with plenty of comfortable seats. The newly-opened cinema in TriNoma is the third of its kind.
As such, the new A-Giant cinema should be great news for frequent visitors to TriNoma, especially considering that this massive, 600-seater cinema features plush seats with generous legroom, as well as a laser projector paired with Dolby Atmos.
“We are thrilled to bring the A-Giant Cinema experience to TriNoma. Moviegoers in Quezon City can finally enjoy cinematic moments that are as big as big can get, and an immersive bonding experience that they can share with family and friends,” says Yvette Roldan, Ancillary Business Head of Ayala Malls.
Technically, this is not an “all-new” cinema. After all, frequent TriNoma visitors should know that this new theater’s location is at the old Cinema 7. Previously, TriNoma’s Cinema 7 was its biggest theater, though now, the screen is even bigger, complete with better seats for a better overall movie experience.
This new A-Giant cinema opened on Sunday, July 29, with a special screening of Fantastic Four: The First Steps. We got to attend the screening, and as someone who has watched plenty of movies at TriNoma’s Cinema 7 over the past decade (TriNoma is a mall I have frequented since my college days), I can say that the A-Giant cinema is a notable upgrade. The laser projector definitely helps as the screen is much brighter. It’s also nice to see the seats get upgrades as they’re much more spacious.
