With the game’s launch just weeks away, 2K and Gearbox Software shared the latest official character short for Borderlands 4, and it features Harlowe the Gravitar.
In case you missed it, Gearbox Software began an ongoing series recently, with each episode putting the spotlight on four all-new Vault Hunters in the game. For the final entry in this Borderlands 4 short series, the last official character short is titled “Family Reunion,” and it stars Harlowe.
Harlowe is a former Maliwan combat scientist, and she’s driven by the need to understand how things work. As such, Harlowe has used her intellect to bring various tech to the battlefield as a Vault Hunter. Plus, the short also showcases Harlowe’s bright and sunny disposition.

The next Borderlands game was officially announced back in August 2024, with the first gameplay footage being shared at The Game Awards in December 2024. Given that this game is the next mainline entry in the series in six years, there’s a lot of anticipation for this game. Thankfully, the wait won’t be long now for its launch.
Borderlands 4 will be released worldwide on September 12, 2025, on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Then, the game will also launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on October 3, 2025.
