Ratatan Early Access will launch on September 19

There will also be a special livestream happening days before the Early Access launch.

Ratata Arts recently announced that Ratatan Early Access will launch on September 19, 2025, meaning players will soon be able to try the game out.

Following its announcement last year, rhythm game fans will be happy to know that Ratatan will finally be playable starting in September. Of course, the fact that the game will launch on Early Access means the upcoming version of the game will not be the final product yet. Still, this is great news for rhythm game players who can’t wait to try the game out.

Early Access to the game begins on September 19 at 12:00 a.m. JST or September 19 at 11:00pm PHT /  3:00 p.m. UTC / 8:00 a.m. PDT.

Ahead of the game’s Early Access launch, Ratata Arts announced that a special livestream for the game will happen on September 14. This stream will be held on the YouTube program AGRS Channel, and it will be hosted by popular voice actor Tomokazu Sugita. During the stream, viewers will get the latest updates on the game, including its post-launch roadmap.

For those who missed its reveal, Ratatan is an upcoming rhythm-based strategy action game where players control their warriors through drum beats. Ratatan’s gameplay is reminiscent of the classic Patapon games from the PSP. That’s because this game is being made featuring members of the team behind the OG Patapon titles.

Ratatan will be released on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. For now, there’s no word yet on its final release date.
