In case you missed it, the Consumer Tech Expo 2025 (aka ConTech Expo) took place on September 5-7, and it saw plenty of tech shoppers visit.
ConTech Expo featured plenty of big deals for tech shoppers to enjoy, but before the event opened its doors, an opening ceremony took place where VIPs from the organizer and partner retailers used AI-powered augmented reality (AR) glasses from Rokid Philippines in place of the traditional ribbon-cutting.
Following this unique opening ceremony, the event opened at the SMX Convention Center, and there, visitors were able to enjoy up to 97% discounts on tech items. There was even a 1 Peso auction that delighted visitors. As a bonus, there were also hourly raffle draws during the event, with prizes ranging from laptops to even a Nintendo Switch.
Aside from tech deals, the Expo also featured 20 immersive tech experiences, where visitors were able to get hands-on opportunities with the latest gadgets. There were also Tech Talk sessions where industry leaders shared their knowledge on new tech innovations.
Throughout the 3-day event, over 8,000 visitors went inside. According to the organizers, the event generated PHP 19.8 million in sales, making it a massive success.
Even though the event has just ended, the next Consumer Tech Expo is already set to return on September 4–6, 2026. It will once again be held at the SMX Convention Center Manila, and it promises even more tech deals and showcases.
