It has been over a week now since Tokyo Game Show 2025, and we’re still thinking about the activities and displays at the SEGA ATLUS booth.
Of course, we loved going around a lot of the TGS 2025 booths, but half of our team at the event are big Yakuza/Like a Dragon fans, so SEGA’s space at the show was one that we went back to again and again.
For those who weren’t able to visit the event, here’s what the SEGA ATLUS booth looks like from the front:

If you’re a Yakuza fan like me, you’ll likely be drawn to the right side where the big Yakuza Kiwami 3 visual is. Just beside this demo area is a photo spot featuring the iconic Kamurocho gate (based on the real-life Kabukicho gate, an icon of Shinjuku).
Aside from getting pics for yourself, this Kamurocho spot also featured a rotating cast of copslayers. During our visits, we spotted plenty of talented cosplayers who posed as some of the series’ most beloved characters, including Yuya, Pirate Majima, Pocket Circuit Fighter, and even Goromi. As a bonus, we also loved seeing members of the “Order of Munan Chohept Onast” doing their signature “shooreh pippi.”

Of course, we also got to try Yakuza Kiwami 3 out, along with Dark Ties. In case you missed its reveal, Yakuza Kiwami 3 is the Dragon Engine remake of the third Yakuza game, featuring updated visuals, gameplay, and character models. The game will also come with Dark Ties, the new “Gaiden” game with Yoshitaka Mine as the protagonist.
You can check out our hands-on impressions here.
Moving to the left of the booth, there’s a dedicated spot for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, the latest game in the Sonic franchise. Aside from Sonic and Shadow, the area also puts the spotlight on the game’s guest characters, including Steve from Minecraft, Pac-Man, Hatsune Miku, Mega Man, Ichiban Kasuga, Joker, and SpongeBob SquarePants.
While the game was released during the week of TGS, demo areas were set up for visitors to try out the game’s various guest characters.

ATLUS also had an eye-catching area at the side of the main stage. Here, a big Aigis statue was on display, highlighting the Persona 3 Reload Switch 2 version. There were also areas dedicated to Persona 5: The Phantom X, as well as Studio Zero’s Metaphor: ReFantazio.
While the ATLUS area wasn’t on the main stage, fans of Persona at TGS were treated to special music performances. To be exact, at this year’s event, Azumi Takahashi, Lotus Juice, and DJ:RAM RIDER took to the stage to perform some iconic Persona 3 tracks!
We mentioned that half of our team at TGS loves Yakuza, but all of us have played Persona 3, so this stage show was a particular treat.
As the SEGA ATLUS Tokyo Game Show 2025 booth had plenty of memorable activities and displays for us, it was definitely a highlight of our trip. Thus, we’re looking forward to see what the two publishers will bring at the SEGA ATLUS Festival Philippines 2025 which was recently announced to take place this December.
