Following the big 2.0 Update last month, Wargaming announced that the World of Tanks x Girls und Panzer collab returns today, with the highlight being the Saunders University High School team.
Given the popularity of Girls und Panzer, coupled with the fact that its story makes it a perfect fit with World of Tanks, it’s no surprise that Wargaming brought back the collab. For this latest crossover, fans of Girls und Panzer will be happy to know that a new team will join the game: the Saunders University High School. This school is no doubt one of the most recognizable schools in Sensha-Dō, thanks to its overwhelming firepower, courtesy of its U.S. World War II tanks.
This new collab is live now until October 27, and during the crossover period, players will be able to recruit four crew members from Saunders. Leading the lineup is Commander Kei, who is voiced by her original Japanese voice actress.
Along with the characters, this latest crossover also has the Tier VI Sherman Firefly Saunders as a major highlight. This American medium tank is an accurate recreation of the same tank in the popular anime. As a bonus, players can also customize their vehicles with a Saunders University High School 2D Style.
Finally, the event features special missions where players can earn GuP tokens. These can be redeemed at the event store for various customization items, including voiced Commanders, 2D styles, decals, emblems, and more
