AdHoc Studio recently announced that Dispatch has sold over 2 million worldwide, meaning the chances of getting a new season are much higher now.
Recently, the studio revealed via its official social media pages that Dispatch has now reached over 2 million players. This isn’t too surprising, especially considering how much discussion the game has generated over the past weeks. What’s interesting is that the game wasn’t released with too much fanfare, but it quickly gained steam during the release of its final episodes.
Given how many units Dispatch has sold, it seems that things are looking good regarding a second season. Of course, there’s no official word on it yet, but a developer from AdHoc Studio and the game’s star, Aaron Paul, have already indicated that they’re hoping to see a second season (as reported by Forbes).
We’re also sad there are no new episodes this week, but thank you to the 2 million players that have joined us so far. Wouldn’t be here without you.

If you’ve been online over the past weeks, chances are that you’ve seen discussions regarding Dispatch. In case you haven’t, Dispatch is a new adventure game where players take on the role of a superhero dispatcher, whose goal is to decide which hero fits best for certain situations. Of course, things aren’t that simple as the protagonist must “manage a dysfunctional team of misfit heroes.”
Gameplay-wise, Dispatch is mostly about making the right dialogue choices combined with some management aspects, a hacking mini-game, and quick-time events. In a way, you can think of Dispatch as a game that’s in the vein of Telltale Games titles from a decade ago, or something like Detroit: Become Human.
If you’re interested in those types of games, chances are that you’ll enjoy Dispatch. If that’s not enough to convince you, the game has gotten great reviews, with Dispatch currently sitting at a 90 on Metacritic.
All eight episodes of Dispatch are out now on PS5 and PC.
