Following its theatrical run a few months ago, The Fantastic Four: First Steps is finally going to be released on Disney+ this week.
In case you missed it on the big screen, the new Fantastic Four movie featured a special presentation for its IMAX screenings. If you weren’t able to watch it (or if you just want to relive the action at home), you’ll be happy to know that the movie will be available in IMAX Enhanced on Disney+. That means the movie will be available in the taller IMAX aspect ratio (1.90:1, not the full 1.43:1 IMAX aspect ratio). Aside from the aspect ratio, viewers with certified TVs and AV receivers can also experience IMAX Enhanced sound powered by DTS:X.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps wil begin streaming on Disney+ on November 5, 2025. The film follows Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Johnny Storm (Human Torch), and Ben Grimm (The Thing) on a cosmic journey that leads them face to face against Galactus.
Even though the movie happens in a different universe (Earth-828 as opposed to Earth-616 of the MCU), this movie promises to be key to the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As such, fans who haven’t seen it yet definitely should give it a watch when it becomes available on Wednesday.
