With the end of the year fast approaching, Crunchyroll announced that it has brought back Arc for 2025, the platform’s year-in-review experience.
Last year, Crunchyroll launched its year-in-review campaign called Arc, giving viewers an overview of their anime-watching habits throughout 2024. Now, Crunchyroll has brought Arc back, and it features one of seven dynamic personas.
How it works is that subscribers can check their Crunchryoll Arc year-in-review. Aside from getting a rundown of the series that they watched, each user will also get one persona, representing what type of anime fan they are based on their watch history during 2025.
The seven personas are as follows:
- Hamurai – Curious Dimensional Nibbler
A genre-hopping adventurer who thrives on chaos, mixing undercover missions with rom-com vibes. Always torn between power, purpose, and the monsters—literal or not—that follow. - Sage Puff – Eternal Flame Guardian
A newly isekai’d soul navigating fresh powers and unexpected teleportation. Lighthearted fantasy energy with big-shonen-growth potential. - Dread Collector – Overdramatic Demon (Third Final Form)
A fearless action-horror force who charges into impossible battles. Power spikes, brutal stakes, and zero-percent-survival-rate confidence. - Bonehead Brawler – Legendary Technique Shouter
A battle-trained hero built for boss fights, big punches, and very long charge-up moves. Relics, rivalries, and dramatic declarations included. - Nutmeg – Cheeky Hoarder of Hearts
A rom-com sweetheart whose awkward flirts and magical mishaps win everyone over. Blushing, love triangles, and enchanting chaos guaranteed. - Wandering Neko – Vengeful Seeker
A lone traveler on a perilous quest through monstrous lands and mythic relics. Stoic determination fueled by loss, grit, and quiet loyalty. - Hanabae – Keeper of Embarrassing Moments
A starry-eyed romantic who turns crushes into cosmic-level gestures. Over-the-top confessions and perfectly mistimed flustered moments define their journey.

Crunchyroll Arc 2025 is available now via the Crunchyroll App, and it’s available in multiple languages. These include English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, and Arabic.
