Garena recently announced the next Free Fire anime collab event, and it’s with the popular shonen series, Jujutsu Kaisen.
Free Fire has done many crossovers with popular anime over the years, including popular shows like Naruto. As such, it’s no surprise to see that the game has a new Jujutsu Kaisen collab, especially given that the new season (The Culling Game) has finally premiered this week.
This latest anime collab features popular JJK characters, including Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Gojo Satoru, and Ryomen Sukuna. During the collab event, players can also enjoy a bunch of new abilities, mechanics, and other in-game content, all of which are inspired by the hit shonen series.
To start, Free Fire’s “Jujutsu Awakening” collab adds five Jujutsu techniques designed around the show’s main characters. Players can master Yuji Itadori’s Divergent Fist, Satoru Gojo’s Unlimited Void and Hollow Purple, and Ryomen Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine. These abilities can be unlocked and used in the Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes through in-game token collection and event progression.
Then, in Battle Royale, players can experience the “Cursed Energy” Collecting system. Players gain Cursed Energy by defeating enemies, or by collecting them from around the map/purchasing them through vending machines. Cursed Energy can then be used to upgrade players’ Hammers or to unlock the new Jujutsu techniques.
Meanwhile, in Clash Squad, players can get “Cursed Energy” Weapons and Jujutsu. Specifically, the Unlimited Void Domain Expansion and Malevolent Shrine Domain Expansion can be obtained from Cyber Airdrops, while various weapons are getting JJK reskins.

As for cosmetics, players can get character bundles, weapon skins, and exclusive rewards. There are character bundles for Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo, and Ryomen Sukuna, with each featuring their anime voices and cinematic animations. Meanwhile, Yuji Itadori will be available as the event’s free Grand Prize.
Finally, players can obtain various rewards, including gear like the Groza – Yuji Itadori, which features “Cursed Energy” animations. There are also other collectibles that can be unlocked, like a Jujutsu Kaisen-themed Gloo Wall, vehicle skin, backpacks, and emotes.
The Free Fire x Jujutsu Kaisen collab will go live on January 14, and it will be available until February 13, 2026.
As for the game itself, Free Fire is available now on the App Store and Google Play.
