Ahead of the game’s launch later this month, SEGA announced a collab between Tochigi City FC and SEGA Football Club Champions 2026. Along with this collab, SEGA also announced other additions to the game.
The new Tochigi City FC includes Predicaments starring the team’s midfielder, Paulo Junichi Tanaka. For those unfamiliar, Tochigi City is a Japanese football club that plays in the second-tier J2 League.
Along with the collab with Tochigi City FC, SEGA Football Club Champions 2026 will also feature new Predicaments storylines featuring Keisuke Honda, one of Japan’s most popular football players. What’s more, a signed player card for Keisuke Honda will be available.
SEGA also revealed that there will be adjustments to League Lv. difficulty. Plus, the number of League Levels has been increased, while rewards have also been adjusted, with players being able to earn 1,000 GB each time they win a league for the first time.
Finally, players will be able to invite other players with invite codes following the game’s official release. How it works is that if a friend enters your code within 72 hours of starting, both users will receive 1,000 GB per invite (with a max of 5,000 GB for five friends).
In case you’re unfamiliar, SEGA Football Club Champions 2026 is a football management simulator that promises to deliver similar thrills to Football Manager, all while being more accessible to newer fans. Players can train up-and-coming athletes in the game, with the goal being to turn them into world-class footballers.
SFCC is officially licensed by Meiji Yasuda J.League and will feature players from all 60 J1–J3 clubs. Players will also be able to recruit over 5,000 real footballers from major European leagues, FIFPRO, K League, and more.

SEGA Football Club Champions 2026 will be released on PS5, PS4, PC, iOS, Android, ONE Store, and the HUAWEI AppGallery on January 22, 2026.
