Wargaming recently announced the new January content update for World of Warships: Legends, featuring the return of Azur Lane.
To be exact, the game’s next big content update will include Wave 7 of Azur Lane, along with the new Born of Battle Campaign, a French Navy Event, and the Gouden Leeuw Bureau Project. Plus, a new Marathon has also begun for the Soviet Legendary Tier battleship, Kremlin.
As Azur Lane is a game that features iconic warships turned into cute anime girls, it makes sense that World of Warships got a collab with it before. Thanks to its success, the collab is now back, featuring fan-favourite characters from Azur Lane as Commanders, including Vittorio Veneto, Ägir, Tallinn, Massachusetts, and Z24. They will be joined by four new ships, including Italian Tier VII Premium battleship AL Vittorio Veneto, German Tier VIII Premium cruiser AL Ägir, Soviet Tier VI Premium cruiser AL Tallinn, and German torpedo-focused destroyer AL Z-24.
There’s also a new Azur Lane VII Container, which will give players a chance to obtain a Commander, ship, or skin from the latest wave of Azur Lane content. Players can get two of these containers for free, though more will be available by completing missions and participating in the Born of Battle campaign.
This campaign is available until February 23, and it features 100 milestones for players to progress through. By completing these, players can get the British Tier VIII Premium destroyer Somme.
As for the French Navy Event, players can expect themed rewards from this, including French Battleship Crates. With these crates, players can get a chance to receive skins for French battleships Normandie, Lyon, Richelieu, Alsace, Bourgogne, Strasbourg, and Flandre. There will also be Premium battleships up for grabs.
The content update also features two Legendary ships: the Dutch Legendary Tier cruiser Gouden Leeuw and the Soviet Legendary Tier battleship Kremlin. Finally, players will be able to enjoy new seasons of Fleet Cup, Ranked Battles, and Brawls.
Wave 7 of Azur Lane will be available in World of Warships: Legends from January 19 to February 23, 2026.
In related news, World of Tanks has a new RoboCop collab that went live last week.
