Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao II happening this September, and it will be streamed on Netflix

Yes, this rematch is real.

Over a decade since their bout, Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao II is official, and it will be livestreamed on Netflix globally.

This rematch between two of the best boxers ever will happen on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Sphere in Las Vegas. This marks Mayweather’s first in-ring bout in nearly a decade, as he “retired” after his Conor McGregor fight back in August 2017. With Mayweather coming out of retirement, this fight is sure to draw plenty of eyeballs worldwide, especially as Netflix will stream the fight live globally at no additional cost.

Given that this won’t be a pay-per-view event, we expect this match to get impressive viewership numbers. After all, even if both Mayweather and Pacquiao are no longer in their primes, they’re still considered to be among the best boxers of their generation. What’s more, the fight promises to deliver an elevated experience for viewers, especially as it will be the first-ever professional boxing match in the Sphere, a venue that features advanced tech to enhance immersion.

Regarding the fight, Manny Pacquiao said: “Floyd and I gave the world what remains the biggest fight in boxing history. The fans have waited long enough—they deserve this rematch, and it will be even bigger now that it will be streamed live globally on Netflix. I want Floyd to live with the one loss on his professional record and always remember who gave it to him. As always, I dedicate this fight to my fellow Filipinos around the world and to bringing glory to the Philippines.

Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather said: “I already fought and beat Manny once. This time will be the same result.”

More info on the fight, including the undercard as well as ticket details will be shared in the coming weeks.
