PlayStation recently held its hour-long State of Play February 2026 showcase, and it featured big new game reveals and exciting trailers for upcoming titles.
This stream was packed with major announcements, including the God of War trilogy remake, the Ghost of Yotei: Legends release date, and the gameplay deep dive for SAROS. While many PlayStation Studios titles were part of the showcase, the stream also featured announcements and trailers from third-party studios, including a new Silent Hill game, another Resident Evil Requiem trailer, and more.
So, in case you missed it, here’s a rundown of the biggest reveals and trailers from the February 2026 State of Play:
God of War trilogy remake
Perhaps the biggest reveal from PlayStation Studios is the remake of the original God of War trilogy. While the reveal didn’t come with any gameplay footage, it did confirm that Kratos’ OG voice actor, Terrence C. Carson, will return to voice the iconic character.
God of War Sons of Sparta
Even though it’s going to be a while before the remake, fans can enjoy God of War Sons of Sparta, a new 2D action platformer that’s out now on PS5.
Silent Hill: Townfall
Fresh after the successful launch of Silent Hill f, fans have another game to look forward to: Silent Hill: Townfall. Much like f, this game is not set in Silent Hill exactly. Instead, it follows protagonist Simon Ordell as he returns to the island of St. Amelia.
Control Resonant
Following its reveal at The Game Awards, Remedy finally gave us our first look at gameplay of Control Resonant. From the looks of it, this game will be a serious evolution of Control, as it’s set in a bizarro version of Manhattan.
Resident Evil Requiem – 4th Trailer
With the game’s launch just weeks away, Capcom shared a new Resident Evil Requiem trailer, hinting at the story and challenges that Leon will face.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2
Finally, Metal Gear fans will be able to play MGS4 on PC and modern consoles, as Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 is official. This package will feature Metal Gear Solid 4 and Peace Walker, effectively completing the main Metal Gear series.
MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls
MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls got a new trailer that showcases the X-Men, along with details about pre‑orders, which will begin on February 19. The game will then launch on August 6.
SAROS
Housemarque’s SAROS also got a new gameplay overview at State of Play February 2026. The game launches on PS5 on April 30.
Ghost of Yōtei Legends
The multiplayer co-op mode for Ghost of Yote also got a new trailer, revealing its March 10 release.
Marathon
With the game’s release inching ever closer, PlayStation shared a new trailer for Marathon. The game’s server slam was also announced, and it will be available to all players from February 27 to March 3.
DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH on PC
Following its release on PS5 half a year ago, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is finally getting released on PC on March 19.
Kena: Scars of Kosmora
Kena: Bridge of Spirits is getting a sequel titled Kena: Scars of Kosmora. This game will feature an older Kena with a more experienced spirit guide, and it’s coming to PS5 and PC this year.
4:Loop
First revealed at The Game Awards, the upcoming co-op shooter 4:Loop got a gameplay deep dive at State of Play. This game launches on PS5 and PC soon.
