During the recent Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung finally unveiled the Galaxy S26 Series, and its price plus availability in the Philippines have been revealed.
Consisting of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, S26+, and the base S26, this new flagship lineup from Samsung promises an industry-leading camera setup, as well as the most advanced AI features yet for any Galaxy device.
Specifically, the S26 Series packs features like Now Nudge, which gives users timely and relevant suggestions without being a distraction; Now Brief, which is enhanced to give users more personalized reminders and updates; Circle to Search with Google, which is upgraded with better multi-object recognition; and Bixby. Yes, Bixby is back, and this time, it promises to have more natural responses. Plus, the phones also integrate other agents, including Gemini and Perplexity.
Now, let’s get into the phones themselves. First up, we have the Galaxy S26 Ultra, featuring a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display, with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and Vision Booster. The phone also features an impressive camera setup, consisting of a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 200MP main camera, a 50MP 10x telephoto, a 10MP 3x telephoto, and a 12MP front shooter. These cameras also feature Enhanced Nightography Video for clear and vibrant videos, even at night.
Powering the Ultra is a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset with a redesigned Vapor Chamber, promising to deliver top-tier gaming and productivity performance. This is complemented by a 5,000mAh battery with 60W fast charging.
Perhaps the most interesting feature of the Galaxy S26 Ultra is the Privacy Display. The images above show the Privacy Display feature being on. While the display looks almost black from these angles, when viewed from the front, you’ll get a clear view of the screen. This is designed to keep what’s on your display private from others around you.
This is definitely a cool feature, especially given how effective it is when you see it in person. It also comes with various options, including the ability to turn on the feature only for select apps. While this is an Ultra-exclusive feature, we hope to see it integrated into other Samsung flagships in the future.
Next, we have the Galaxy S26+ and the base S26. Both phones feature a 12MP Ultra-wide + 50MP Main + 10MP 3x Telephoto + 12MP front camera setup, as well as Exynos 2600 chipsets.
Their key differences are their displays and batteries. The S26+ has a 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen and a 4,900mAh battery. Meanwhile, the S26 has a 6.3-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and a 4,300mAh battery.
In the Philippines, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, S26+, and S26 are available for pre-order starting today, February 26.
