At its recent Creator Experience Day, Canon Philippines unveiled its two new initiatives: Canon Creator Camp and the Canon Campus Tour.
The Creator Experience Day took place yesterday in Mandaluyong City, and there, Canon’s new initiatives took the spotlight. The first is the Canon Creator Camp, which will feature community-driven sessions that will help creators in the Philippines sharpen their photography skills. Meanwhile, Canon will host campus tours and product experience events at schools and campuses across the Philippines. With this, students who want to get into photography or other creative fields can get to learn about and try out Canon’s various camera and printing tech.
At the event, Canon also highlighted its newest products. These include the Canon EOS R6 V, a hybrid camera with a 32.5-megapixel sensor and active cooling for content creation. There’s also the Canon PIXMA MegaTank printers, which promise to deliver great printing quality while having ink- and paper-saving tech, along with wireless printing capabilities.
To top it all off, yesterday’s event featured a panel of four Filipino creators who shared how Canon fits into their creative workflow. These creators include Karl Patacsil, Magic Liwanag, Nicole Shane Gonzales, and James ‘Squeegool’ Claridades.
