Samsung recently unveiled the new 990 SSD, a solid-state drive that promises to be great for heavy creative workloads and gaming.
This new SSD is available in 1TB and 2TB storage variants. The 2TB model can deliver a sequential read speed of up to 7,250 megabytes per second (MB/s), while the 1TB model reaches up to 7,150 MB/s. What they have in common, though, is PCIe 4.0 support and the latest NAND technologies, along with sequential write speeds of up to 6,450 MB/s for faster file transfers.

The Samsung 990 SSD was launched globally today, and it is coming soon to the Philippines with a price tag of PHP 19,075 for 1TB and PHP 37,678 for the 2TB capacity. It will be available on the official Samsung Storage stores on Shopee and Lazada, as well as partner retailers such as PC Express, Infoworx, Octagon, The Net, JW Summit, PC Hub, Thinking Tools, Dynamic PC, Datablitz, and Memo Express.
