Our top picks in the ASUS ROG 2026 gaming lineup from CES

Here’s a rundown of what’s on our gaming wish list from ROG’s 2026 gaming line!

Earlier this year, ASUS ROG unveiled its new 2026 gaming lineup at CES in Las Vegas, featuring a powerful new desktop, various refreshed gaming notebooks, and more. From what we’ve seen, gamers who are looking for an upgrade in 2026 have plenty of options, all of which promise a great gaming experience.

This is fitting considering that 2026 is the 20th Anniversary of the ASUS ROG brand. Since ASUS launched its Republic of Gamers line back in 2006, it has become one of the most well-known brands in the PC and gaming laptop space. For this year’s lineup, ROG promises to deliver on its goal of giving PC gamers exciting new hardware.

Given the collection, it can be a bit daunting to select which of them should be on your to-buy list if you’re looking to upgrade to a new gaming machine sometime this year. So, if you’re wondering what the best ROG laptop in the Philippines is for 2026, or if you’re thinking of some peripheral upgrades, here are our top picks from the ASUS ROG 2026 gaming lineup!

ROG G1000 Gaming Desktop – A Beast of a Setup

Starting off, we have the ROG G1000 gaming desktop. ASUS ROG’s tagline for this PC is “Built to be Seen,” and this is fitting because of its eye-catching AniMe Holo – the world’s first holographic fan system. How it works is that the desktop tower has three X-shaped side and dual front holographic fans that can show off a variety of text and images. With these, you can project the logo or image that you want for extra personalization via the Armoury Crate app. You can also choose designs for each fan, or sync them up so that they have more visual cohesion.

Along with this, the ROG G1000 is built to be cool, with its tri-zone air flow design that promises to provide adequate airflow to the GPU, CPU, and PSU. It also has a wide array of connectivity options at the back and the front, along with WiFi 7 connectivity.

Of course, ASUS ROG also packed this desktop with impressive hardware. Specifically, the desktop can be powered by up to an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D CPU and up to an ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 GPU. Thus, this can be configured to be an extremely powerful gaming rig that can handle triple-A games at 4K resolution with ease.

ROG Zephyrus DUO 16 – The Ultimate Gaming Laptop

Now, if you want something portable while having the flexibility of a multi-monitor desktop setup, the ROG Zephyrus DUO 16 is for you. This marks the return of the World’s First Dual Screen gaming laptop, and this time, it features even more display options.

The laptop features dual 3K ROG Nebula HDR OLED touch displays, and they can be configured in up to five modes. You can use it as a typical laptop with the keyboard attachment, or you can use the two screens both vertically and horizontally. It can also lie flat for team productivity, as well as in “tent mode” for small presentations or creating art.

Design-wise, it’s also eye-catching thanks to the Slash Lighting look that’s straight out of the ROG Zephyrus G series. While you can opt for a subtler look, the Slash Lighting system offers 15 pre-programmed animations.

Power also shouldn’t be an issue, as this dual-screen gaming laptop is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor, with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU. With this configuration, users would have no problems running games on both screens, even at higher resolutions. Given the power and flexibility, the Zephyrus DUO has a good argument for being one of the best laptops for gaming and streaming.

ROG Zephyrus G16 – Balancing Portability and Power

If you want something more portable than the Zephyrus Duo while still being powerful, there’s the ROG Zephyrus G16. What makes this laptop special is that it is powered by top-of-the-line hardware – with options of up to an Intel Ultra 9 386H CPU and RTX 5090 laptop GPU – all while being incredibly portable. Specifically, this laptop is ultra-slim with a 1.49cm thickness, and it’s lightweight at only 1.85kg. All of this while having up to a 23% increase in Max TGP for even more performance.

Even with how thin and light it is, the Zephyrus G16 still promises powerful performance, as well as a great display. This Zephyrus has a 2.5K ROG Nebula HDR display with an OLED panel and a fast 240Hz refresh rate. It also has a wealth of I/O options, ROG Intelligent Cooling tech, and a •             50 TOPs NPU. With the latter, you can get better performance for AI workloads.

To top it all off, the G16 retains the now signature Zephyrus Slash Lighting system that gives the laptop an aggressive gamer look without being too distracting.

ROG Zephyrus G14 – One of our Favorite Gaming Laptops, Made Even Better

If you ask us what we think is the best ROG gaming laptop in the Philippines, we’d find it hard to answer. But if you ask us our favorite, we might go with the Zephyrus G14 as its form factor makes it one of the easiest gaming laptops to bring everywhere. For the 2026 version, ASUS ROG further improved the Zephyrus G14.

Much like its larger sibling, the G14 has the Zephyrus Slash Lighting system. It also has up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 368H processor. The Intel version can be configured with up to an RTX 5080 laptop GPU. This combo should be excellent for triple-A and multiplayer gaming.

Notice that we said the Intel version. That’s because the G14 also comes in an AMD edition. Specifically, users can opt for a model powered by an AMD Ryzen AI processor paired with an RTX 5060 laptop GPU.

Whichever variant you choose, you’ll get an impressive 3K ROG Nebula HDR display with an OLED panel and a 120Hz refresh rate. Plus, you’ll get 50 TOPs NPU for AI processing, along with a max 130W TGP for extra performance.

ROG x Kojima Productions Collection – A Kojima Fan’s Dream Setup

The final item on our list is actually three pieces. As part of its CES 2026 lineup, ASUS ROG revealed its special collaboration with Kojima Productions, featuring a gaming laptop and three peripherals that are co-designed by the studio’s art director, Yoji Shinkawa.

These include the ROG Delta II-KJP, a premium gaming headset that features 50mm titanium-plated diaphragm drivers, dual flow audio, and a 10 mm super-wideband boom microphone. Then, there’s the ROG Keris II Origin-KJP, a lightweight gaming mouse weighing only 65 grams, all while packing a 42,000dpi ROG AimPoint Pro optical sensor, ROG Micro Switches II, and 3-zone RGB lighting. Rounding out the trio is the ROG Scabbard II-KJP gaming mouse mat, which has a Ludens illustration by Yoji Shinkawa.

Given their style, these accessories are must-haves for Kojima fans. Best of all, they are all premium and capable gaming partners, so they’re not just for show.
