Resident Evil 30th Anniversary Sale goes live on Steam, with 90% discount on RE3 Remake

Other classic Resident Evil games also have big discounts!

To celebrate the franchise’s 30th Anniversary, Capcom joined the Steam Spring Sale with a special Resident Evil series sale.

This new sale is live now on Steam, and it features big discounts on various titles in Capcom’s beloved survival horror franchise. The highlight of this sale is Resident Evil 3 Remake, which has a massive 90% discount, meaning it’s priced at only USD 3.99 (or PHP 179). While the game is fairly short for RE standards, the huge discount makes it a no-brainer purchase for new fans, as well as for long-time fans who haven’t played it yet.

Along with RE3 Remake, the sale also featured discounts on the OG RE4, RE5, RE6, and even the 2002 Resident Evil Remake. Even the Revelations games and spin-offs like Umbrella Corps are part of the offer.

Note that not all games in the series have discounts during the sale. Of course, Resident Evil Requiem isn’t part of it as it has only been a few weeks since its launch. Interestingly, aside from RE3, most of the newer RE Engine games (from 7 onwards) are still being sold at full price. RE2 Remake is a bit of an exception. While the standalone version is not discounted, fans can purchase the RACCOON CITY EDITION bundle (which includes the RE2 and RE3 remakes) with a 77% discount.

Given the success of Requiem, we’ve seen plenty of interest in the other RE Engine Resident Evil games, especially 2 and 4, as they star Leon S. Kennedy. As such, it’s not too surprising that they’re not part of the sale.

Still, this is great for newer fans who are getting into the series, as there are plenty of good older games that they can dive into thanks to this sale.

These offers are available now until March 27, 2026 (PH time).
