vivo X300 Ultra unveiled at MWC 2026, global launch confirmed

We've got a brand new vivo X300 Ultra along with a tricked out 400mm telephoto extender coming later this year!

Adding to a massively popular flagship series, the vivo X300 Ultra just made its debut at MWC Barcelona 2026. Taking center stage alongside the industry’s only 400mm equivalent telephoto extender, plans have already been confirmed to bring the device to global markets later this year.

When exactly has yet to be determined, though.

The centerpiece of the reveal is the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra, a co-engineered lens accessory that achieves a 400mm equivalent focal length and delivers a full 200MP optical output — with image quality maintained even at a 1,600mm digital crop.

Built to APO imaging standards in partnership with ZEISS, the extender incorporates gimbal-grade optical image stabilization and motion-tracking focus technology to keep ultra-long-range shots stable and sharp. vivo says it is the only 400mm telephoto extender currently available in the mobile industry.

Alongside the telephoto extender, vivo also showcased a pro-grade Camera Cage designed for video creators. The expandable cage features cold shoe mounts, quick-release ports for accessories, a dual-hand grip for handheld stability, dedicated physical shutter and zoom buttons, and a built-in multi-level cooling fan to sustain performance during intensive recording.

An External Lens Expansion Frame adds compatibility with the Telephoto Extender, completing a modular professional kit built around the X300 Ultra.
