The Xiaomi Pad 8 Series along with a wide range of new AIoT devices just found their way onto Philippine soil today. Aimed at productivity-focused and everyday users, the Xiaomi Pad 8 and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro–which Xiaomi says are its thinnest and most powerful tablets to date, combine portability with flagship-level performance.
Both tablets feature an 11.2-inch 3.2K display with up to 144Hz refresh rate and 800 nits of peak brightness, housed in a slim 5.75mm all-metal body weighing just 485 grams. Despite the lightweight design, the devices are equipped with a large 9,200mAh battery and run on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, bringing PC-like multitasking, upgraded split-screen layouts, and AI-powered tools under Xiaomi HyperAI.
The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro sits at the top of the range, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, offering significant gains in CPU and GPU performance. It supports 67W fast charging, features a 50MP rear camera and 32MP front camera, and is available in a Matte Glass version designed for reduced glare and improved stylus use. The standard Xiaomi Pad 8, powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 platform, delivers a more streamlined option with 45W charging and solid performance for daily multitasking.
Alongside the tablets, Xiaomi also unveiled new ecosystem products, including the Electric Scooter 6 Series, Xiaomi Watch 5, Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W, Xiaomi Tag, and REDMI Buds 8 Pro, reinforcing its connected lifestyle strategy.
Xiaomi Pad 8 will be available in three color options: Pine Green, Gray, and Blue. Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro will be available in three color options: Pine Green, Gray, and Blue.
Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro 8+256GB will retail for P38,999, while the Xiaomi Pad 8 will retail for P29,999. They will come with the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 8 Focus Keyboards, respectively.
