HONOR 600 Series gets official release

The HONOR 600 Series just dropped in Malaysia, and it's only a matter of time before it reaches Philippine soils.

The tech scene in Malaysia is embracing the official international debut of the new HONOR 600 Series lineup. This launch marks a significant shift as the brand moves its latest upper-midrange contenders into the international spotlight for the first time. These devices are specifically geared to combine premium features with more moderate pricing than traditional top-tier models. The revamped design takes clear inspiration from the latest high-end aesthetics, featuring a bold, oversized camera island and a vibrant orange colorway that ensures the hardware stands out in any crowd.

Both handsets are built around a stunning 6.57-inch AMOLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. A key highlight of this panel is its record-breaking peak HDR brightness of 8,000 nits, paired with HONOR’s extensive eye-care suite including 3,840Hz PWM dimming for comfort during late-night sessions. Durability is equally impressive, with the series reporting high-end ingress protection through IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, allowing them to withstand dust and extreme water pressure.

The internal hardware differentiates the two models to serve varied user needs. The standard version utilizes the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 platform, while the 600 Pro moves into elite performance territory with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Endurance is powered by a massive 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery in Asian markets, though European units are expected to carry slightly smaller 6,400mAh capacities. Both variants support 80W wired charging and up to 27W reverse wired charging, while the Pro model adds the convenience of 50W wireless charging to its feature set.

Photography is led by a 200MP main camera and a 50MP selfie sensor on both devices, though the Pro variant gains a 50MP periscope telephoto lens for superior zoom capabilities. Running MagicOS 10 on Android 16, the series introduces the AI Image to Video 2.0 tool and a customizable AI Button.

In Malaysia, the HONOR 600 starts at RM2,599 (approx. PHP40,000) for the 12GB/512GB model. The 600 Pro is priced at RM3,099 (approx. PHP48,000) for the 12GB/256GB variant and RM3,299 (approx. PHP51,000) for the 12GB/512GB version, with open sales starting April 30. As for a Philippine launch, it’s best to stay tuned to the official website and Facebook page.
