House of the Dragon Season 3 premieres on HBO Max this June

House of the Dragon is finally coming back, and it's third season will feature 8 episodes.

It has been nearly two years since the second season, and soon, fans can look forward to House of the Dragon Season 3, which premieres on HBO Max this June.

To be exact, the show’s third season will debut on Monday, June 22, and it will get new episodes weekly. As there are eight episodes in total, the thirds eason will end in an epic finale on August 10.

Season three features new and returning cast members, including Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, Matthew Needham, James Norton, Tom Bennett, Kieran Bew, Kurt Egyiawan, Freddie Fox, Clinton Liberty, Gayle Rankin, Abubakar Salim, Tom Cullen, Tommy Flanagan, Dan Fogler, Joplin Sibtain, and Barry Sloane. Also back is Co-Creator / Showrunner / Executive Producer, Ryan Condal.

Following the end of the third season, House of the Dragon will continue with season 4, though that will be the show’s finale. Given that there are two-year gaps between seasons, we expect to get the final season sometime in 2028.
