Officially launched yesterday at the Now Is Your Spark event over at Bangkok, Thailand, HUAWEI unveiled the latest addition to their growing luxury smartwatch line, the HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE. This is the HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition, the brand’s first jewelry smartwatch as well as they fitted the smartwatch with actual natural diamonds.
Encrusted with 99 Diamonds and it weights 0.80 carats in total with 49 Diamonds on both sides of the titanium strap and the biggest piece sitting atop the gorgeous diamond-cut crown.
This is an elevated step into cornering the luxury smartwatch market alongside the very first HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN, an equally impressive smartwatch adorned with 18K Gold. With an aerospace-grade titanium alloy shell with Fibonacci-patterned 18K-gold inlay ceramic body, a sapphire crystal face, and a custom watch face as well as a really chic box, the Spring Edition of the HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN is a sight to behold.
Designed by former LVMH Jeweler, Francesca Amfitheatrof, she infuses much-deserved gravitas to the HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition. The crowing jewel of this release is the fact that it uses 99 Natural Diamonds (49 on each band and a bigger stone that sits atop the crown) weighing at 0.80 carats in total.
As for the stone quality, we’re not too sure about the clarity and color but according to a quick search, an 0.8ct diamond costs an average of $2100+. This alone gives you an idea of how much the smartwatch is going to cost.
Aside from the pristine design and luxurious embellishments, the HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition infuses all the latest health trackers that we’ve grown to love with HUAWEI including the X-tap, first seen on the HUAWEI WATCH 5.
X-Tap Technology via Health Glance allows you to monitor 11 health indicators in one quick action. Everything from ECG, Blood Oxygen, Heart Arrythmia, Stress, Sleep pattern, and a lot more can be easily checked. With more investments being siphoned back into research and development (about 20% of total 2025 revenue was re-distributed for R&D according to HUAWEI), HUAWEI has been at the forefront of tracking health & sports with their wearables.
The price? Oh just 3799 Euros or a staggering Php 270,000++.
And while pricey, do remember that you are carrying a frosted arm-candy right here with 0.80 carats of Natural Diamond. That alone should put this shoulder to shoulder with high-end luxury smartwatches like the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon Light Up, or heck a limited edition LV or Dior Luxury bags.
Sadly, we’re not sure if the HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition will reach Philippine shores as the watches are deemed quite limited. We’ll update the story once we get more information from the brand on any possible local release.
