Alongside the Edition 20 collection, ASUS ROG unveiled the new ROG XBOX Ally X20 bundle at Computex 2026.
This special version of the ROG XBOX Ally comes with a translucent black chassis and gold design elements, making it a more eye-catching gaming handheld. Yes, that also means it’s part of the Edition 20 lineup, which is made to celebrate ROG’s 20th anniversary.
Aside from its distinctive style, the Ally X20 packs a Nebula HDR Display, which is quite a big upgrade, especially as it’s also bigger at 7.4 inches. It’s also still powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, giving it great gaming performance. Plus, the bundle comes with the ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses.
Other features of the ROG XBOX Ally X20 include the Transforming D-Pad, which features standard four-way movement and an eight-way control option, making it a great partner for fighting games. It also has new TMR joystick technology for better precision, as well as Hall effect sensors for no stick drift, even after years of use.
Perhaps the highlight of the bundle though, is the ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses. This gives users a 171-inch virtual screen at 4 meters, which should make for an immersive viewing and gaming experience, both at home and while on the go. The image quality and responsiveness also promise to be good, as it has a 240Hz micro-OLED display with a near-instantaneous 0.01ms response time.
