Rockstar Games recently announced the official pre-order date for Grand Theft Auto VI and revealed the game’s cover art.
Back when the game’s trailer was first released in 2023, GTA VI had a 2025 release window. Given the game’s scale (coupled with the delay history of previous GTA titles), most gamers were not surprised when GTA VI was delayed to May 2026. Then, in November last year, the game was delayed yet again, moving its release date to November 19, 2026.
While some fans were afraid that we were going to get another delay, that won’t be the case anymore. That’s because Rockstar Games finally announced that pre-orders for the game will go live on June 25.
Along with the pre-order date announcement, the official Grand Theft Auto VI cover art was also unveiled.

It’s fair to say that the signature GTA collage cover art style (which was introduced in GTA 3) has become iconic. As such, it’s nice to see that Rockstar has kept the collage art. GTA VI does stand out compared to the previous series entries, as the VI in its logo is massive.
Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Yes, this means that the upcoming GTA game will not be released on PC at the same time. This is the same case as Rockstar’s previous big releases.
