XBOX Games Showcase 2026: The biggest reveals and trailers

From the Persona 6 reveal to Senua, here are the highlights of this year's XBOX Games Showcase.

The XBOX Games Showcase 2026 happened earlier today, and it featured a lot of exciting trailers for previously revealed titles, as well as new announcements.

Over the past week, we’ve seen plenty of big reveals at State of Play and Summer Game Fest. This time, XBOX did not disappoint, as we also got plenty of good stuff. Not only did we see some of the new projects from Xbox Game Studios teams, but we also got some major new announcements from third-party publishers (especially Atlus).

So, in case you weren’t able to watch the showcase, here are the biggest reveals and trailers from XBOX’s big event of the summer.

Persona 6

Perhaps the biggest surprise of the show was the announcement of Persona 6. It may have taken a while, but finally, the next mainline Persona game has been revealed, though we only got a cryptic teaser with a title drop. Still, this is great news for fans, as it should mean we’ll get Persona 6 news at some point either this year or early next year.

Persona 4 Revival

While waiting for P6, fans of the series can at least look forward to Persona 4 Revival, which is coming out on February 18, 2027. This was revealed in a new trailer that showcased new gameplay clips, including battles and social elements.

Gears of War: E-Day

The new Gears of War game was the event’s opener, with a deep dive also happening after the showcase. For those unfamiliar, Gears of War: E-Day is set 14 years before the first game, and it follows Marcus Fenix as he faces off against fearsome foes in the city of Kalona (a new location). E-Day launches on October 6, 2026.

Senua

The third Hellblade game is official, and it’s simply titled Senua. This game’s new trailer showed off some action-packed combat scenes, revealing that Senua will be much more action-oriented compared to the previous titles. The trailer also revealed its 2027 release window.

Fable

The new Fable game also got a trailer at the showcase, revealing the game’s villain, played by Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter in the MCU). As previously confirmed, the new Fable’s release was delayed. Now, the game is set to launch on February 23, 2027.

Clockwork Revolution

Clockwork Revolution also got a new trailer at the event, which showed off more of the game’s steampunk setting and first-person action RPG combat. The game will launch sometime in 2027.

Halo: Campaign Evolved

Ahead of its launch this July, Halo: Campaign Evolved got a new trailer, which gave us a look at Operation: METEORITE. This is a new addition, and it’s a three-mission story arc that takes place a year before the story of the original Halo.

DOOM: The Dark Ages – Revelations

DOOM: The Dark Ages also got the spotlight at the XBOX showcase, as the game’s new campaign expansion, Revelations, got an official trailer. This big story addition will be released on July 7, 2026.

Xbox X25

This special edition Series X|S console and controller celebrate the 25th anniversary of XBOX. Fittingly, it comes in a green translucent design, which is a delightful throwback to the OG Xbox console.

The console and controller will be released as a bundle in select territories this November.

Of course, these aren’t the only big reveals at the XBOX Games Showcase 2026. In case you want to see all of it (or just relive the show), you can watch the VOD here.
