Ubisoft will bring Rayman Legends Retold to gamescom 2026

Ubisoft also highlighted the rest of its gamescom lineup.

Ubisoft recently shared its plans for gamescom 2026, and one of the highlights from the publisher at the event is Rayman Legends Retold.

To be exact, visitors can try out a demo of this upcoming Rayman title at the Ubisoft booth. The game’s demo will let players experience the game’s first level, one of the new dragon rides, and a fan-favorite musical level.

In case you missed its reveal, Rayman Legends Retold is an upcoming remake of Rayman Legends, which was released back in 2013. Note that this remake won’t just be a big visual upgrade, as Ubisoft calls this a reimagining of Legends. Thus, players can expect a brand-new story with fully voiced cinematics. Of course, this remake will also feature revamped 3D visuals.

Rayman Legends Retold’s development is led by Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan, and it will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC on October 1, 2026.

While Rayman Legends Retold is no doubt a highlight of Ubisoft’s gamescom 2026 lineup, fans can also look forward to the Community Lounge. Located at the Ubisoft booth, the Lounge will host community activities and developer talks for various titles, including Rainbow Six Siege, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, The Division 2, Anno 117, and more. Some of the sessions will also be streamed live from August 26 to 29 on Ubisoft’s YouTube and Twitch channels.

Ubisoft’s gamescom booth will be located in Hall 6.1 – Stand C011 – B010. Visitors will be able to check out the booth at gamescom from August 27 to 30, 2026.
