Wargaming recently announced that it has teamed up with World of Tanks for the new Battle Pass Special: Far Cry event.
World of Tanks is no stranger to crossovers, as the game has gotten plenty of collabs over the years. Just this year, we’ve seen events such as the Mafia crossover. Now, the game’s latest limited-time event features the world of Far Cry. This collab will go live on July 16, and it will bring fan-favorite Far Cry characters into the game, alongside new 2D styles and even a brand-new tank.
For most players, the highlight of this event is no doubt the new tank. Specifically, this collab brings the M-VII-Y, an American Tier IX heavy tank that will be available through Chapter Progression. What makes it special is its “Twisting Paths” 3D style, which is essentially a jungle island look, complete with palm leaves on the turret, along with a cannon inspired by Citra’s Knife, with a blade-like shape and tribal patterns.
Next, this collab adds five notable Far Cry characters, each featuring unique voiceovers. Players will be able to recruit Jack Carver from the first Far Cry and Dr. George Krieger, the first game’s antagonist, via Character Progression. There will also be themed bundles, where players can unlock Jason Brody (of Far Cry 3), Citra Talugmai (also of Far Cry 3), and Pagan Min (Far Cry 4’s antagonist).

Players can also unlock Far Cry-inspired rewards across both the Base and Improved tracks of the battle pass. The highlight rewards include:
- “Trouble in Paradise” 2D style – inspired by the iconic red Hawaiian shirt worn by Jack Carver.
- “Tatau” 2D style – recreates the legendary tribal markings of the Rakyat people.
- “Jungle Fever” 2D style – brings the iconic artwork and the legendary knife of Citra to the battlefield.
This latest World of Tanks collab will be live from July 16 to July 27, 2026. For more details, visit the game’s official website.
