Is the Philippines gearing up to be an OPPO nation?

OPPO released its F3 smartphone in May with much fanfare and celebration, as OPPO started marketing it as the ultimate selfie camera. With delectable features such as the popular dual-selfie camera set-up, a big 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, the OPPO F3 clearly is a winner.

But don’t take our word for it.

The OPPO F3 recently garnered a huge 48.5% of the mid-range smartphone market (P15,000-20,000) as of May 2017, just a few months after its release! A very impressive feat!

Clearly, the OPPO F3 was meant for the Filipino market. OPPO Philippines Brand Marketing Manager Stephen Cheng claims its competitive price, sleek design, and trending dual camera setup as the reasons for the smartphone’s success. If OPPO continues with this trend, by outing more premium features, discounts, accessories and offerings, they could very well dominate the mid-range smartphone segment!
