ONE Store Beta Now Available

It’s happening again, boys and girls! We’re going to Tokyo!

It’s been a year since we started it all when we last went to the land of the rising sun and geekery to cover the biggest video game convention this side of the world, the Tokyo Game Show. Ever since then, we’ve been doing our very best to bring you various content from around the world – be it the Fan Expo in Canada, Dragon Con in Atlanta, or PSX SEA in Kuala Lumpur! We’ve seen the growth of the Geek Culture in the Philippines and we believe that our passions are world class. Hence, we’ve promised ourselves to continue bringing you global geekery as much as we can and to extend that reach to even more places as time goes by. Truly, the Filipino is worth geeking out for 😉

As we come full circle and return to TGS, this time we’re arriving about a week earlier before the con proper and bringing a full team to give you as much of Japan as we can. Not just that, we’re also not the only Pinoy outfit traveling as we have a lot of friends joining in the fray as well!

Last year, to my recollection, only a handful of Philippine blog and media went to cover this prestigious event. This time, much to our pestering perhaps, we’ll be joined by the, ahem, best of Philippine Tech and Geeky Pop Culture digital outfits. Gadget Pilipinas, Jam Online, Hungry Geeks and Reimaru Files along with Ungeek, of course, will bring you guys the best of Tokyo Game Show.

So for the next 12 days we’ll be casting reports in Japan.

But we don’t want to leave you guys out of our experience so, aside from the constant coverage, we’ll be conducting a very special TGS 2017 exclusive promo care of PayMaya — the convenient way to do cashless transactions. We’d urge you guys to watch out for that cause we’ll be raffling off items that you can’t get anywhere else.

Watch for our live broadcast, subscribe to our YouTube Channel and ensure that you get timely updates by ticking the “See First” on Facebook to always see newest post from us.

We’ve talked about various game companies updating their activity list for the con so if you guys have any input (or specific games you want us to check) do let us know in the comment section below.

We’d also like to thank our generous brand partners for powering this special Ungeek.ph coverage namely: Smart World Travel WiFi, PayMaya, ASUS — our official laptop sponsor and OPPO Camera Phones — this trip’s official handset sponsor.

Expect more Tokyo geekery from us in the next few days! Yosh! Ikuzo!!!
