Tech Recommendations: Why the Huawei Watch Fit is a Must-Buy

The Huawei Watch Fit is a must-buy; here's why!

ONE Store Beta Now Available

In this new normal where we are encouraged to stay at home as much as we can in light of the pandemic. Because of this, it can be tempting to just lay in bed or in your couch after a work day (be it from the office or at home) and watch movies and shows. After all, adjusting to the new normal is a challenge for a lot of us. But that doesn’t mean you should neglect your health. In fact, staying fit and healthy is a great way to minimize the risk of becoming sick.

In our new normal experience, keeping on top of your health is very important. Because going to gyms and be a no-go right now, the Huawei Watch Fit gets top marks from us because of its useful features!

When we tried out the Huawei Watch Fit, we got started on a home workout routine in no time! Aside from becoming own personal trainer, the Watch Fit also has a lot of other features that let us get on top of our daily tasks. Best of all, the Watch Fit has class-leading battery life to boot, meaning we didn’t have to scramble for a charger for more than a week!

Not convinced? Here is a detailed look at six features that make the Huawei Watch Fit one of our top tech recommendations:

10-day long battery life

While there are a lot of smartwatches available now that are packed with nifty features, a lot of them need to be charged every few days or so. Not the Huawei Watch Fit though! This fitness watch can last for up to 10 days on one charge with proper battery management! This means you won’t have to worry about the Watch Fit getting drained while you’re using it during a workout or in workdays.

If you do need to charge, the Watch Fit fills up in a breeze. From zero, the Watch Fit will charge to 100% in just around an hour, meaning you won’t have to keep the device away from your wrist for long.

Quick Workout Animations

As the word ‘Fit’ is in the Watch Fit’s name, this wearable from Huawei is an excellent partner for workouts. Even if you don’t have any exercise equipment at home, you can easily get your daily workout done with the Watch Fit’s Quick Workout Animations. This feature is essentially your own personal trainer as it features 12 different workouts, each including various animated exercises.

Thanks to the animated exercises, following along the workout is a breeze; with this, there’s no need for a workout guide to follow along with on your TV or smartphone. Plus, the 12 different workouts have different targets. For instance, the ‘Ab ripper’ workout has exercises that activate your core, while Exercise at Work features quick physical activities that you can squeeze in while in the office (or the home office).

1.64-inch AMOLED display

Some smartwatches have tiny displays that can be a bit hard to read. But the Watch Fit is different as it has a 1.64-inch AMOLED display that is easily readable and displays vibrant colors. So even if you’re exercising or busy working, a quick glance at the Watch Fit is all you need to track your progress or check notifications.

96 Workout Modes

Aside from the Quick Workout Animations, the Watch Fit also has 96 Workout Modes in total, ranging from running, swimming, and cycling courses. There are even workout modes for low intensity activities such as yoga, as well as for high-intensity interval training. This makes the Watch Fit a great companion for serious fitness buffs and even for athletes.

What’s even better is that the Watch Fit supports custom workout modes, meaning you can set your preferred workout. On top of this, the workout modes also track your real-time heart rate, calories burned, and duration of your session.

SpO2 detection and other health trackers

When not exercising, the Watch Fit also has a lot of health trackers to keep you up to date with your body’s status. For one, the Watch Fit has a blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) detector, useful in today’s time as low blood oxygen can result or is a symptom of health problems.

Aside from this, the Watch Fit also has a heart rate sensor, a stress monitor, and even a sleep tracker. All these features are helpful in keeping your health in tip-top shape. After all, the new normal can be quite a stressful time for a lot of us.

Built-in GPS

If you do decide to go out for a run (while following social distancing of course), the Watch Fit has a built-in GPS sensor that can help you map outdoor runs. With this, you can keep track of your running exercises to see if you’ve reached your goals without the need to bring your smartphone with you.

While these six features are the major highlights of the Watch Fit, the new Huawei smartwatch actually has even more useful functions. Not only can you get quick notifications of incoming messages/emails, the watch can even function as your phone’s music controller. Thanks to all of its useful features, the Huawei Watch Fit earns high recommendations from us, especially as a partner for work and fitness in today’s new normal.
