New Deathloop gameplay trailer revealed during Sony’s State of Play

During the latest State of Play from Sony, Bethesda Softworks and Arkane Studios showcased a very impressive gameplay trailer for their upcoming game Deathloop.

For those unaware of the game, Deathloop lets you play as the assassin named Colt. The game takes place in an island called Blackreef where your objective is to assassinate a fixed number of targets within a day. Like its namesake, the core of Deathloop is its game cycle where you fail and start the day anew, bringing all your newfound information in tow. Think of it like murder x groundhog day, if that makes sense.
Pretty remarkable stuff if you ask me. I can’t wait to see more of this as release date nears. Speaking of that, Deathloop will release on the PlayStation 5 and Windows PC on Sept. 14, 2021.
