After the first collab back in 2019, Uniqlo and Makoto Shinkai have teamed up once again in 2022 for a new UT graphic tee collection.

Specifically, the new line of Shinkai UTs feature four graphic t-shirts, with each featuring a design based on a movie from the acclaimed anime director. This new collection is coming right in time for his highly anticipated next film, Suzume no Tojimari.

Here’s a rundown of the four designs:

First up is a navy graphic tee with a design based on Shinkai’s 2016 film, Your Name. Specifically, it features art at the front of Taki staring at Comet Tiamat.

Next is a light blue tee with a print from Weathering With You on the back with the words “It’ll clear up now.” At the front meanwhile are the words “Under Tokyo’s Constant Rain.”

The third tee is a white graphic shirt with a graphic of Suzume no Tojimari’s door visual, along with a key design at the back.

Finally, there’s a black tee with a small graphic of a chair and a cat that’s based on Shinkai’s next film.

Right now, the Uniqlo Makoto Shinkai 2022 collection is confirmed to release in Uniqlo US stores on November 14, 2022, and all the designs are currently listed on the US website.

Though currently, there’s no word yet on a release date in Uniqlo stores in the Philippines. But it’s likely to release here as well given the previous collection was launched here in 2019.

Meanwhile, Suzume no Tojimari is set to release in Japan this November. An international release is expected shortly after.
