Final Fantasy 16 ‘Salvation’ trailer hypes up the game’s launch

At the 2023 PlayStation Showcase, the new Final Fantasy 16 “Salvation” trailer was released to hype up the game’s June launch.

While this trailer showed off epic cutscenes, it does also have some snippets of gameplay. Though if gameplay is what you’re after, there have been several gameplay showcases for the upcoming Final Fantasy game that were released over the past few months.

Even before this trailer though, the hype for Final Fantasy 16 has been already sky-high. Aside from being the first numbered entry to the series in years (not counting the FF7 Remake), there have been more previews of the game that was released just over the past few days.

From the looks of it, there’s a lot of reason to be hyped up about the game as praise has been directed towards the action gameplay and the intriguing world. In fact, the game’s story and world is being likened to something like Game of Thrones, So, it’s fair to say that this will be a game that’s sure to be a must-play for series fans (here’s hoping that it lives up to the hype).

Final Fantasy 16 will be released for the PS5 on June 22, 2023.
