To end the Xbox Games Showcase 2023, Bethesda shared a 45-minute-long gameplay deep dive into Starfield ahead of its September launch.

Specifically, this gameplay deep dive was kicked off after the games showcase from Xbox given its length. Though even before the Starfield direct, a new gameplay trailer was shown that previews what fans can expect.

As for the deep dive, despite being 45 minutes long, it flew by incredibly quickly as Bethesda showed off lots of features of the game in detail, including exploration, the various large cities, character customization, ship customization, and many more.

From the looks of it, this game will be familiar to fans of Bethesda’s RPGs such as the Elder Scrolls and Fallout games. But of course, this one has a way bigger scale as it features over a thousand worlds.

Finally, the Starfield direct also featured a look at the game’s collector’s edition which includes a special replica watch of the one in the game. Plus, the limited edition Starfield Xbox controller and headset were also revealed.

Starfield will release on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC September 6, 2023. As with all first-party Xbox games, this game will be released on Game Pass on day one.
