To celebrate, the game is releasing a new Gundam, a new boss, and more!
It’s the Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2’s 5th Anniversary! Five years is a huge milestone so, to celebrate, the game is releasing a whole lot of content – a new Gundam, a new boss, free supply drops, and more!
Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2’s 5th Anniversary Festival
As a “Thank You” to all the pilots who supported this game up to its fifth year, Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 will be having a 5th Anniversary Festival from July 27, 2023, 1:00PM (UTC+8) to August 24, 2023, 12:59PM (UTC+8). The event will be featuring a bunch of goodies for players so let’s check out each one.
1. Hi-nu Gundam from ‘Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack – Beltorchika’s Children’ arrives
Yup, the Hi-nu Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack – Beltorchika’s Children is joining the fray with a whole array of weaponry and skills like the Psycho-Frame Resonance. It’s a General Unit, For Ground/Space Use and costs: 700.
2. Up to 80 Free Supply Drops with Chance of Getting 16 Mobile Suits of the Rarity of ★★ or More
Every week during the 5th Anniversary Festival, 10 subsequent free Supply Drops will be held and players will be able to get a guaranteed Mobile Suit of ★★ or higher, or one that is ★★★ or higher. 1 free Supply Drop will also be done daily during GBO Days, where players can win a guaranteed Mobile Suit of ★★ or higher, or one that is ★★★ or higher. The drops will happen from now untill Thursday, August 24 2023, 12:30PM (UTC+8).
3. 5 Special STEP UP Supply Drops
5 special STEP UP Supply Drops are being held until Thursday, August 3, 2023 12:30PM (UTC+8), with players being able to win a guaranteed Hi-nu Gundam Mobile Suit and more!
4. 5-Year Anniversary Containers
A weekly gift, the 5-Year anniversary containers, will be given to players. These will contain 39 Thank You tokens, Mobile Suits, enhancements, and custom parts. The more days pilots log in to the game, the more items they will get!

5. A New Boss, Elmeth, has Arrived
The Battle Simulator, has a new enemy available! Take on the challenge in the new mission, Ghost of Solomon, and meet the new boss, Elmeth!
6. Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2’s 5th Anniversary Supply Drop MS Request Campaign
The Supply Drop MS Request Campaign is open from now until August 3, 2023, 10:59PM (UTC+8) where pilots can vote for the Mobile Suit that they want to get a chance to win as an extra in a supply drop. Check out the poll and vote!
7. Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2’s 5th Anniversary Sale – All Items 30％ Off
To further sweeten the deal, all items at the DP exchange window will also be 30% off from now until August 24, 2023, 12:59PM (UTC+8).
8. Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2’s 5th Anniversary Token Pack
In celebration of the title’s 5th anniversary, special token packs containing 60 tokens each are available on the PlayStation™Store for each pilot until August 24, 2023, 12:59PM (UTC+8).
9. Limited Time Missions Every Week
Limited time missions will be held every week during the 5th Anniversary Festival. Complete missions to get special rewards such as valuable Mobile Suits and camouflage patterns!

10. New and Returning Pilots Campaign for Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2’s 5th Anniversary
A special campain for new and returning pilots! If you started playing Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 for the first time within the last 14 days or have not logged in within the last 45 days, you will receive 5x EXP / CP and 10x DP! These pilots can sortie in the field to attain 5x of the Clan Levelling Reward, from now until August 24, 2023, 12:59PM (UTC+8).
11. 5x Clan Levelling Reward Campaign
Until August 24, 2023 12:59PM (UTC+8), pilots will attain five times more rewards when their clans level up.
12 A New Trailer Featuring Hi-nu Gundam and Nightingale Out Now
A new trailer featuring Hi-nu Gundam and Nightingale is out now, with narration done by Amuro Ray (CV: Toru Furuya) and Char Aznable (CV: Shuichi Ikeda) – take a look below!
