David Fincher’s ‘The Killer’ is coming to Netflix this November
Michael Fassbender stars in this new thriller from Se7en and Fight Club director, David Fincher.
Netflix recently shared the official teaser trailer for The Killer, the upcoming thriller from David Fincher starring Michael Fassbender.
While Netflix releases a lot of big action movies every year, this upcoming film is shaping up to be a special one, especially for movie buffs. After all, its director David Fincher is beloved among cinephiles for his work on thrillers like Se7en, Zodiac, and Gone Girl.
For now, Netflix only describes its story as: “After a fateful near-miss, an assassin battles his employers and himself on an international manhunt he insists isn’t personal.”
Though you won’t need to learn much about it to get hyped as the trailer sets the tone quite nicely. You can watch it here:
This upcoming thriller is based on a French graphic novel series of the same name which has gotten a lot of praise. Though what makes it even more exciting is that it will be the first time in years that David Fincher is directing a thriller. After all, his last film Mank (which was also for Netflix) was a biographical drama.
Fincher is no stranger to working with Netflix. Not only is Mank produced by the streaming giant, but Netflix also enlisted Fincher for the crime drama series Mindhunter.
The Killer will be released on Netflix worldwide on November 10, 2023 on Netflix.
