Xbox highlights eleven new Game Pass titles for September, 1TB Series S console, and more

September is a huge month for Xbox!

ONE Store Beta Now Available

Xbox has an impressive September lineup as eleven highlight titles are coming to Game Pass and a new Series S console has been released.

Of course, the biggest highlight of the month for Xbox is Starfield, the latest game from Bethesda Game Studios — the team behind the Elder Scrolls and Fallout games. While the game has yet to be officially released, Starfield is now available on Early Access for Premium Edition owners.

Along with Early Access, reviews for the game have been released, and they’re quite positive, with the game currently having a score of 88 on Metacritic.

Along with Starfield which becomes available tomorrow, here are the rest of the big games that are coming to Game Pass this month, as well as their availability dates:

  • Mythforce – September 12
  • The Crew Motorfest – September 14
  • Gloomhaven – September 18
  • Lies of P – September 19
  • Mortal Kombat 1 – September 19
  • Party Animals – September 20
  • Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty – September 26
  • El Paso, Elsewhere – September 26
  • Cocoon – September 29
  • EA Sports FC 24 – September 29

Aside from games, Xbox also unveiled the Xbox Series S in Carbon Black.

This isn’t just a recolor of the Series S console as it also comes with 1TB of storage. For comparison, the previous version only had 512GB of storage (with effectively less usable storage as it needs space for the operating system).

Xbox’s latest Series S console is available now at xbox.com and microsoftstore.com in regions where Xbox consoles are officially sold.

Finally, Xbox also announced its Game Pass update for September.

Starting September 14, Xbox Live Gold will turn into Xbox Game Pass Core. Aside from multiplayer access on Xbox, Game Pass Core will also come with 25 playable titles, including Forza Horizon 4, Grounded, Among Us, and more. Plus, various exclusive deals and discounts will be available to subscribers.
