SEGA announces Publisher Sale 2023 on the PlayStation Store

Following its recent Autumn Sale, SEGA announced the new Publisher Sale 2023 on the PlayStation Store that’s live now!

During this new sale, SEGA is offering a range of PS4 and PS5 titles at bargain prices. While it’s not SEGA’s biggest sale this year, it does feature some hidden gems.

Among these is Sonic Mania, a collection of reimagined classic stages and all-new levels. Then there’s Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax, a 2D fighting game in the long-running Dengeki Bunko series.

Here’s a rundown of some of the highlight games that are part of the sale:

Sonic Mania (PS4)

First, we have Sonic Mania, a game that pays homage to the original Sega Genesis era Sonic games as it features the classic gameplay that long-time Sonic fans know and love.

New Sakura Wars (PS4)

Next is New Sakura Wars, the soft reboot of the classic robot action-slash-visual novel Sakura Wars series. While it promises to be fun game for existing fans, it’s also a good entry point for those who are new to the series.

Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax (PS4)

Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is a 2D fighting game released in 2014 on arcades, followed shortly by a PS4 release This game is a celebration of the Dengeki Bungko publishing imprint, and it’s a crossover title featuring characters from Sword Art Online, The Devil is a Part-Timer, The Irregular at Magic High School, and more.

Shining Resonance Refrain (PS4)

Shining Resonance Refrain is an action-RPG that was originally released in 2014 on the PS3. Fans outside Japan were able to play the game when it was released on PS4 worldwide back in 2018.

Bayonetta & Vanquish (PS4)

Finally, there’s the Bayonetta and Vanquish bundle — two games that are must-plays for fans of PlatinumGames titles as well as fast-paced games in general.
