A Quiet Place: Day One gets Philippines cinema release date

Day One is a prequel to the hit horror film A Quite Place, and it's coming to PH cinemas soon.

Horror fans should mark their calendars as A Quiet Place: Day One has finally gotten an official Philippines cinema release date. Fans of horror movies should get ready as the film will be released in June.

Technically, this is the third film in the A Quiet Place horror film series, though as its title implies, this movie is a prequel to the original movie. Specifically, it will tell the story of how the story of how the fearsome aliens land on the Earth and proceed to usher in an apocalypse.

This film stars Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o as Sam, and she is joined by Joseph Quinn (of Stranger Things fame) as Eric alongside Alex Wolff and Djimon Hounsou.

While John Krasinski (the director of the previous two movies) did not return as the director, he still serves as Day One’s producer, not to mention that he still gets story credits. Directing the movie instead is Michael Sarnoski.

A Quiet Place: Day One is coming to cinemas in the Philippines on June 26, 2024. More info, including the official cinema list, will be revealed closer to the film’s theatrical release.
